After Gary and Myself Trudging the 13.1 miles streets Of Newcastle/Gateshead and South Shields in Sep 2010 in the pouring down rain,we have decided In Liams Memory to Re enter as Part Of ""Team Liam"",With a new addition Michael Shields  and more to follow as part the team (we must be mad)

Liam Harker Was A 17 Year Old Avid Liverpool Fan who Touched Millions OF Fans hearts around the world with his sad sad but brave story in his fight against a rare form of Stomach Cancer and finally lost this brave battle on May 5th 2008

In Memory of "THE GENTLE GIANT", And "LIVERPOOL FC" Fanatic "LIAM HARKER"

Liam in May 2008 Lost his brave short battle from a rare form of Stomach Cancer,But touched Millions of LFC Fans Worldwide,and also Rafa Benitez and the Entire L.F.C Squad who rallied round and signed a shirt by them to send to Liam as this was his one wish to have a shirt by HIS IDOLS Signed,Rafa even invited Liam watch the players train and meet with them but was to Poorly to travel,but was happy with his signed shirt that his favourite players signed for him

The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of Childhood Cancer. Objectives are: Find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments. Increase the number of children cured of cancer. Make treatment less distressing.
