Up until 6 weeks ago, my training was going swimmingly: mileage was increasing nicely, speed work was getting somewhere, felt stronger with each week that passed....and then certain muscle groups that i dont care to name (all south of the border) started getting all huffy with me. Against my better judgement, i took a rather autocratic stance against their growing complaints. Well, in the end they won- apparently some niggles cant be run off as i'd hoped. Still, ill be running the full 26 miles irrespective of their opinions on the 18th April...albeit at a crawl. What a hero.
