Cancer has affected many of my family and friends over the years. Recently I lost my mum to cancer, this has inspired me to raise money to help others. The reason I have chosen the Basil Skyer's Myeloma Foundation is because the Skyer's family are close friends, and neighbours from the old St Ann's back in the sixties. It is reassuring for me to know that my mum would be happy knowing that any money being raised would be going to such a good cause.
