In August 2016 our youngest Granddaughter Esme underwent open heart surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), she was diagnosed at 8 weeks old as having AVSD (Atrioventricular Septal Defect), she had three heart defects which meant surgery was required.  Esme had her operation in August, they repaired the two holes in her heart and created new canals. Thankfully due to the great care of Great Ormond street she is now doing amazing and we have seen a great improvement in her health. 

We are eternally grateful for the amazing care Great Ormond Street provided for Esme and us as a family. This is only possible with vital funding that the hospital receives, by way of thank you we would like to raise as much as we can so GOSH can continue to provide amazing facilities for the children and their families.

You will not be contributing to our trek in anyway, this is something that is already planned for November so all donations will go directly to GOSH
