I have been with Hospiscare for just over 20 yerars now as their resident hairdresser, I started as a volunteer and then had the opportunity to have a proper job there.  In this time I have seen the benefits that all your donated money will do in caring for the those with life threatening illness.  Hospices are not always about dying but making the most of the time you have left.

This challenge will be my forth, having trekked Tansania, Peru and the Himalyas, each challenge throws up it's own tests and trials, this one will be challenging for me personally as I am subject to heatstroke, which I have always been very blase about but it is in fact quite dangerous, so this will be my biggest test.  And of course I will have to cycle 450k in a week!!! so lots of padding for the bum I think.  The kit list says to take compeed plasters, not sure they make them that big!

Any amount you can donate is very much appreciated by both myself and Hospiscare.  Over the six years I have been challenging myself I have managed to raise just over £23,000 I hope to make it to £30,000 with this latest adventure.
