Fundraising for Ichthyosis Support Group
As you may know, several members of my family and I have a rare inherited skin condition called Epidermolytic Ichthyosis (EI). Its impact ranges from pain and hypersensitivity to blistering and infections.
On November 13th I am going to be running in the Athens Marathon (the ‘original’) to raise funds for The Ichthyosis Support Group (www.Ichthyosis.org.uk) - a small charity who have provided us all with invaluable guidance and encouragement.
In undertaking this Marathon I’m also hoping to prove to myself and others afflicted by this condition that despite the hurdles presented to our daily lives – and sporting ambitions (!) - we can still achieve our goals if we put our minds to it.
Even if you do not feel able to donate, I am still very grateful for your support.
