Story
First of all, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving Page.
As a member of the Air Cadet Organisation I am able to be involved in an abundance of fantastic courses, which are fundamentally to develop young individuals that either aspire to be in the military or even to transfer these skills into civilian life. In September last year I started the Junior Leaders Course and in order to complete every aspect of the course I am required to manage my own fundraising project for this phenomenal charity.
John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) supports young people from a number of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries which give them access to opportunities to promote personal development and achievement. Meanwhile, the charity help to also promote qualities such as: courage, determination, unselfishness and cheerfulness in adversity through doing the work they do.
To replicate the immense effort and work the charity does for young people in the U.K. I have decided to complete a cycle ride from London to Brighton. The ride equates to a 54 mile route, which is likely to take approximately 6 hours. The amount of good that is done by the charity is inspiring, and it would be a pleasure to be able to fundraise the £500.00 I have been tasked with.
