As some may know I previously did a hiking challenge with Macmillan in Iceland and ever since I've been looking out for the next one. It had to be at least as hard as otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge so when they decided to go to Everest Base Camp - somewhere I always wanted to go to but never in my wildest dreams thought I would - I knew I had to sign up! I intend to place a prayer flag at Kala Patthar - the highest point we hike to at 5545m (18,192ft) - in remembrance of my Mum.

I have quite a huge target to raise and some serious training to do but I'm sure that with all your support I will be able to manage this and raise tonnes of money for Macmillan Cancer Support who do a wonderful job supporting people affected by cancer.

With a target of £4,350 to raise I will be holding various events over the coming months and I'm also setting up an online crafty gift shop to sell some of my unique creations including recycled Jewellery so watch this space for more info on all this.

Of the £4,350 target at least 62% of this money will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, the balance being spent on the costs of the trip. This balance which includes travel and accomodation expenses I will be paying myself so everything I receive in donations will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support so I thank you in advance for your donations!
