Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page I am aiming to raise £1,800..
2015 is my 40th year and I have a few things I am challenging myself with; this being the ultimate.......:)
As you know Keir was born in 2005 and our lives were changed forever. Keir has since been diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome), which is part of the autistic spectrum. Keir continues to thrive and keep us entertained with his quick wit and amazing personality (clearly takes after his mum!!!).
Keirs biggest challenges are his behaviour, learning difficulties and the ability to read social situations appropriately.
Myself, Gavin, Drew, Euan and all of our families continue to live in hope for Keirs future and we as well as Keir will continue needing the support of the NAS, to ensure he becomes the best he can and lives his life to the full, with that beaming smile.
Keir is so literal and he has told me, that he is only coming to watch in the VLM; if I win the race......In my world, getting over the finishing line is winning (this body wasnt built for a marathon and therefore training is full on).
Please donate and help me reach my target, thank you Leigh xxx
