Hi and thanks for looking at my page. I am doing a fund raiser in the memory of my Grandma Doll and would like to donate all raised funds to Macmillan for all the care they kindly gave to my Grandma and also for all the fantastic work they do for everyone who has or has been through a cancer related illness. My personal reasons for this is to give something back for my Grandma who gave me so much without a second thought. Through good times and bad my Dad (Ray Gladstone) was always there for me as was my Grandma, a real family bond one that lasts forever, memories that will last a life time and fills me with pride when I talk to my Daughter about them. Blackberry picking and making pies, tea in a glass cup with a tin of biscuits, reading the paper in a perfect flowered garden, holidays, walks, sooooo many laughs and a memory that will last is my Grandma holding my 1 day old daughter. These are just a few of my memories I have. The fund raiser is to drive from John O Groats to Lands End in 1 day hopefully in a time under 15hrs though we are set on raising money on the way so its more about raising rather than rushing. I have sprayed my car in the style of the A-team van..........to get noticed and will be doing the event with some very good friends. I will be auctioning off the car at the end of the event and the money will be going to Macmillan also. So please dig deep, we all have our own special memories.........................lets make them last and remember our stars in the sky with pride, joy and give back to those who give so much.
