Story
Guide dogs for the Blind is a charity that literally gives quality of life. I have members of my family who are registered Blind, and have grown up around these amazing animals. I have fond memories as a child spending time with my Auntie and her Guide dogs. We went on fun filled days out that I'll remember all my life, I attended the puppy training centre in Exeter and was always proud to see the dogs at work. All this was possible due to the indepemdence given by this amazing charity. These animals are also loving companions and even friends to their owners. The hard work, dedication and patience that goes into training the dogs is something that has to be supported. I want to take this amazing opportunity given me by Guide dogs to take part in the Marathon, to give something back to a charity that has given my family so much.
