We fund research and raise awareness to save men's lives from male cancer

Story

Well, like most blokes, I don't check my balls every month but recently I accidentally (thankfully) noticed that one of mine was harder than the other. Fast forward 2 weeks and it was no longer where it used to be.

I have since become one of the 2400 men a year to be diagnosed with Testicular Cancer, which is one of the most treatable male cancers, particularly if caught early.

With this in mind, Clare and I are aiming to raise some funds for Orchid (Testicular Cancer charity), and raise some awareness for men to check their nuts regularly.

Seeing as Clare had already entered us both into the local Hoylake 10K in September, I thought we may as well see if we can achieve both of these aims - and turn a negative into a postive. I, for one, have hugely valued the advice and support provided by the charity as part of my treatment and ongoing care / observation.

We'd value any contribution, big or small, and encourage everyone to spread the word about ball-checking....
