I have some exciting news to share. 

I have recently been selected as a finalist for Face Of The Globe.
Face Of The Globe is a World wide confidence building program and competition for young women of all ages focusing on volunteerism and raising money for charity.

I am very excited to have been chosen to represent South Africa in the international Beauty Pageant.

I have an important story to share.
I am a polio Survivor and I use wheelchair daily for mobility, however the wheelchair is only a part of me. It doesn't define who I am or my abilities, I have so much to give.

Being included in a competition like The Face Of The Globe is very important to me. My main goal is to inspire everyone living with disabilities to chase their dreams, to never let their disabilities limit them and to always focus on what they can do, rather than on the things they can't do. To help in creating the world that everyone can access (Barrier-Free).

I believe in continous learning and improvements, and empowering those around me.

The charity that I am raising money for is The Rainbow Child Foundation, a non-profit organization that prides itself on giving 100% of its profits to helping underprivileged children around the world by providing schools with play pumps, sanitation, farm seeds bank, and HIV awareness programs.

The international Beauty Pageant will held in Both London and Disney Land Paris. I am hoping to raise R100 080. to cover the cost of entry, airfares, and accomadation for myself and the two people who will be going with me for support. The cost will also cover Waldrop, food, etc
Should I exceed this target I intend to use the additional funds to contribute to the Smile Foundation, the South African non-governmental organisation with a holistic health care vision for children with facial conditions. The Smile Foundation together with the country’s Academic Hospitals work together to put the smile back onto our children’s faces with free corrective facial reconstructive surgery and treatments."
