My name is Leanne, I'm 30 and from Cambridge.

In June 2010 I was told the devastating news that I have terminal cancer; secondary salivary gland cancer spread to the base of my skull and sinus. Even though general medical treatment has failed & surgery is not an option, as i would not survive, I believe I can & will fight this.

I have had radiotherapy to slow the progression of the tumours but unfortunately this hasn't worked; my symptoms have gotten worse & the cancer has started to spread. I have been told I have less than 6months to live.

With your help I hope to be able to receive alternative treatment so that I can extend my life. Unfortunately, my family & I do not have the funds for these as they are very expensive. I have so far been looking into two types of treatment - vitamin C therapy with hyperthermia & radiowave treatment. Fingers crossed one of these holds the key to my life.

I am also looking into acupuncture to help with pain relief & I have also adopted a much healthier diet which is rich in fresh fruit & vegetable juices & low in sugar.
