Story
I am running the London Marathon 2022 after deferring my 2020 place due to covid, this will be my first full marathon in support of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to help raise funds to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. My niece has had Type 1 since she was 10 years old and I am running for Emma and the other over 400,000 people in the UK who suffer from this chronic condition. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that can affect anyone at anytime and requires multiple daily insulin injections or insulin pump therapy to stay alive everyday.
Please support the great work that JDRF do in raising awareness and supporting research into finding a cure for Type 1. Your support will make a huge difference to JDRF and is very much appreciated.
