I am so pleased and to be taking part in the Mersea Island Music Marathon, a great event which will bring the community and the church together to raise money for charity.

For St Peter's & St Paul's Church we are raising money for new sound equipment which will greatly benefit the community and I am also raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity I feel very passionate about and really makes a difference to so many young lives, especially since  around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. 

They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer', Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to making this happen. The money that I raise will be split equally between these two charities.

On Saturday 12th May I will be taking part in the Mersea Island Music Marathon, I must say I am really excited and of course a little nervous as I will be singing non stop for 1/2 hour at 08:30am, something that I have never done before.
