In a moment of madness my friend Jennifer and I signed up to take part in the 81 mile Etape Caledonia cycle race on Sunday 8th May in aid of Marie Curie.

Marie Curie provides care and support for more than 40,000 people per year in the UK living with a terminal illness, and their families.

Marie Curie nurses work all hours in homes across the UK, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support. The hospices offer specialist round-the-clock care, and help is provided to people throughout their illness by giving practical information and support from trained volunteers.
