Myself and friends are running the Edinburgh half-marathon on 26th May in aid of the cancer charity CLAN, as the huge amount of support it gives to individuals and families in the North East of Scotland is something close to all of our hearts. 

Sadly my friends lost their wonderful mum in 2012, having shown exceptional spirit and courage throughout her long illness with cancer. During her illness she received reflexology treatments at CLAN, and appreciated CLAN's real commitment to helping those affected by cancer.

Please give generously, if you can, so that CLAN can continue to offer comfort and support to those in need.

In memory of such an admirable woman, and for such a worthy cause, myself and a group of friends, the "Thunderburds", are dusting off (some even purchasing for the first time) our running shoes and taking on the Edinburgh half-marathon. We would be incredibly appreciative for your support in doing this...
