Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am setting up this page because our Son Tommy who is 8 years old wants to raise money in memory of his wonderful Daddy (and best friend) Wayne. He is going to ride his bike 25 miles from our home in Harlow to London.
Unfortunately Tommy only got to spend 7 years with his idol before cancer cruelly ripped Wayne from this world aged just 38. Wayne is the best human I have ever met and is missed so much by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Since the day Tommy was born they were two peas in a pod, always doing everything together. Wayne was, and continues to be, Tommy’s hero. He truly was the best Dad Tommy could have ever wished for and I can’t put into words how heartbroken we both are having to carry on without him. So I will be doing everything I can to support Tommy raising money in his Daddy’s memory for a really worthy cause.
Wayne was cared for by the incredible people at St Clare’s Hospice for the last two weeks of his life. They were so amazing and I truly don’t know how we’d have coped without them. I can never thank them enough for the way they treated us.
St Clare’s rely on donations in order to continue with the amazing work they do, helping so many families during the hardest times of their lives. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you xxx
