Story

On Saturday the 28th of November I will be attempting to complete 2,000 burpees in 10 hours to raise money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation (IPF). The IPF are an organisation who offer information and support to players (from grassroots to professional) in England who sustain catastrophic spinal and brain injuries playing rugby. The foundation also helps prevent future injuries through vital research.

In May 2018 I sustained a compression fracture and dislocation to my spine whilst playing rugby. Days after the injury happened, the IPF visited me whilst I was in hospital, offering guidance on how they can support me through my injury. The foundation supported me through financial hardship and helped me get through some tough days during injury. I have decided its time to do my bit to give back the funds I received from RFU Injured Players Foundation

I will be doing live videos on social media throughout the day for people to follow and watch how I am getting on with the challenge.

Thanks for taking the time to read my page and please share/donate if you can - even if it's £1 it still helps!
