Story
This is the second year in a row I will be taking part in the Great North Run. Last year I was plagued by injury and short of my leg dropping off at the 9 mile point, I still managed to complete the run in under two hours. Still slightly injured but persevering, I am attempting it again all in the name of our little furry friends at the Newcastle Dog and cat shelter. Having visited the shelter on a number of occasions I have seen first hand the great work that they do in dealing with a huge number of abandoned animals. Unfortunately the charity don't receive government funding so have to rely on donations and money raised from events such as the Great North Run. As such I would be super grateful if you could donate what ever you can afford through my JustGiving page. All donations no matter how small will be gratefully received. If your not a big animal fan yourself, then please donate to support me. Donations = much motivation for me to get me through to the end! :)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
