My trainer Paul Hamilton who is doing the challenge with me is a former World Muay Thai Champion and professional boxer, holding belts in numerous different weights, after209 professional bouts. He has been named Britain's fittest man, Britain’s Tough Guy team winner three times, carried the Olympic flame and is in the combat hall of fame. Trained numerous world champions in variety of fight disciplines.
I have chosen to raise money for Action medical Research as I’ve had a long-term association with the charity through my cycling with the Barking Badgers over the last 20 years or so.
For over 65 years Action Medical Research have helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But they urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and can’t do it without support. Join the fight for little lives!
