I'm going to ride my bike solo 884 miles, cycling John O'Groats to Lands End. I am doing this in aid for a charity called The Smile Train, they operate on children with cleft palates, doing a number of things like: make them look normal again, ensuring they can eat and most importantly smile. The cleft palate is caused genetics and dietary deficiencies and results in a hole in the roof of their mouths and the hole goes straight up into their skulls, they also have a split lip, they can't eat properly because the gum where the front teeth grow isn't there. This means the teeth grow wonky and effectively they can’t eat.

This cycle ride is a massive challenge for me as I am only 12 y.o. I want to do something to change a child's life.

Reaching my target would change the lives of 4 kids’ and they would be able to work and make a living. If they kept the disorder, in the LDC  (low development) countries they would be turned down with no one to care, they would be unemployed and probably have to turn to street begging or worse. With Smile Train they can go out and live a happy life!
