In February 2010 our dad was diagnosed with a rare lung disease - Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension ( PH). There is currently no cure for this disease and he is currently taking part in a drug trial - (for symptom control). He has and continues to stay incredibly brave and as ever he looks after us all in the way only he can do. The condition is very rare and as a family we decided to do something positive for him to help raise the awareness of the illness.

On Sunday 15th May 2011 me, my sister Amy, my brother Ryan my mum, aunty Sandra and uncle Ian are running/walking in as "Team White" in the Great Manchester Bupa Run to raise money for PH.

He is an inspiration to us all and we as a family we will keep up the fight and always be right by his side all the way x x x x x
