We offer cancer patients support to help them feel better about hair loss

Story

Cancer Hair Care is a specialist cancer charity offering FREE expert advice on all aspects of hair loss before, during and after cancer treatments. Help is on-hand in person, over the telephone and on-line through our pamper and salon mornings, in-hospital clinics and friendly website. Our Happy Heads and Gigs & Wigs services offer support to children and teenagers facing hair loss at a critical time in their life, giving them confidence when they need it most. As we rely 100% on donations, your support means so much, thank you.

Following a recent family member being diagnosed with cancer and having to make the difficult decision to shave off their hair, I realised I wasn't 100% sure on what advice to give and how to make the experience a more positive one. Using my skills as a hairdresser I want to be able to give the best and correct advice possible and try and make a little if significant difference to people dealing with cancer and the affects of treatment.
