Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
FPIES (Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome) is a rare but severe form of delayed food allergy affecting the gastrointestinal tract. Typically, a reaction includes vomit to shock, often requiring hospitalisation. Any food has the potential to cause a reaction to those children with FPIES.
I am Albie and I am 15 months old. I was diagnosed with FPIES at 8 months. Unfortunately, there is no cure for FPIES, only avoiding the food that causes the reaction. So many medical professionals are unaware of the condition, which often means children are often misdiagnosed.
I would like to help raise money to spread awareness of FPIES. I am going to partake in '15 for Frankie' and walk (well a little bit!) - But my mum, dad and brother and going to push me in my pram the majority of the 15 miles throughout the month of September!
Monies raised help FPIES UK to spread awareness and support families further.
