Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some people may be aware, I lost my Mum very suddenly in November 2010. My mum had multiple Brain aneurysm's that were not diagnosed in time. In the three days my Mum was at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham the nurses and specialist's provided her with 24 hour round the clock care, nothing was ever too much hassle for the family visiting and my Mum. This enabled my Mum's last day's with us to be more comfortable.

Due to my pregnancy this year and having Hayden I am unable to participate in the above event this year. So i have managed to convince three amazing people to do this on my behalf and run The Great North Run 2011 this year to raise money for such a close cause. Howard Wylie, Katie Mumford and Lloyd Jacques have been training endlessly and working really hard. The run is 13.1 miles and it will take place from Newcastle to South Sheilds. As i have ran this in the past I know the run is challenging so all the training they are doing every week will help them complete the run.

So I am asking for your help to try and raise as much money as possible for the Neurology Critical Care unit to help such a worthy cause.

Any donation large or small will go a long way.

Many Thanks

Laura Wylie
