Why

I have chosen to fundraise for this charity because this service is needed now more than ever given the cost of living crisis. The Trussell Trust work to end hunger and poverty by providing emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK. They are a lifeline for people struggling to make ends meet. They also offer support and advice to people to address the underlying causes of food poverty, such as debt, benefit delays and unemployment.

Our vision is for a UK without the need for food banks. say this because it’s not right that anyone cannot afford their own food. That’s why we are working towards a just, compassionate future, where no one should have to use a food bank to get by.Our vision is ambitious, but we know that if we work together it is possible.
