Recently friends took their to daughter A&E (ER for all you American's reading this) and they couldn't imagine where the trip would lead.  A day later Phoebe was in surgery to remove a brain tumour.   Following further testing the family received the the official diagnosis -- Medullablastoma, an aggressive form of cancer that affects the brain and spinal chord. The doctors are confident that they have removed the entire tumour but it is likely that some cancer cells still remain in her body and Phoebe will undergo aggressive radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

When asked "How can we help, what can we do?" the family suggested running the Yorkshire Half for Charity - so here I am.  Please help me support this family, the charity, and all the children they treat and families they support.  Please also pray for Phoebe and her family and they embark on a marathon of their own.
