Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am taking on some of my biggest challenges to date:

June 10th - European Championships Triathlon. 1.2mile swim, 56mile bike, 13.1mile run

July 2nd - City to Summit. 13.1mile run, 112mile bike, 26.2mile run over Ben Nevis in 20hrs

Nov 16th - Dec. 3rd - Trek to Everest Base Camp!

I wanted to use these events to raise money for a charity close to my heart. Alzheimers and Dementia have sadly taken the lives of both of my Nans and have also caused a lot of heartache and sadness to the surrounding family.

Whilst these challenges are rather scary, nothing terrifies me more than the thought of one day looking at my family and not knowing their names or having one of my parents not recognise me anymore. It's a truly tragic disease that desperately needs a cure. There are currently 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia with that figure estimated to rise to 1.5 million by 2040, the time to make a difference is now.

Any donation you can make, no matter how big or small, will matter and I am extremely grateful for every penny! Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you x
