Story

Welcome to my wet and wrinkly JustGiving page!

I used to be doing this through pounding the streets, but this page has to change, as I am injured and cannot run. Therefore I will not be doing the Brighton marathon next month.

So, instead, I am going to swim a marathon. In the month of May I am going to dedicate myself to the pool and swim those 26 miles in 26 days. Call me Flipper.

It's still for a wonderful cause, the MS Trust. They gave me such great support when I ran a marathon in Buenos Aires and do such wonderful work in research and support for suffers of multiple sclerosis. My grannie had the disease when she died in 2003. And while it doesn't matter how many lengths I swim - she won't come back - I can try and do something for those whose lives continue to be blighted by this crippling and incurable disease.

So, please donate whatever you can. £1, £5, £1 million will all go a long, long way to a) getting me through those soggy 26.2 miles and, more importantly, b) helping the continuation of the great work of the MS Trust.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for your time, and even more thanks for your money.
