To all my friends, family and colleagues, 

I am taking part in the Great North Run on the 13th September. It will be the longest distance that I have ever ran and if I can make it to the finish line I will be happy. 

I will be fundraising for 'Pete's Pancreas Project', in memory and support of a close friend's father who sadly lost his his life to a rare form of pancreatic cancer. The family has set up a charity in conjunction with the Freeman Hospital Newcastle to specifically research the treatment of this rare cancer for further information please refer to www.petespancreasproject.co.uk.
