Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 13th September I will be walking the 25k
Thames Path Challenge for Childnet and I’m hoping to do this in 4 ½ hours!
Childnet’s mission is to work in partnership with others around the world to help make the internet a great and safe place for children. They aim to give children age 3-19 the skills to stay safe online, and to empower their parents, teachers and others working with them to have confidence and knowledge to prevent and respond to online risks such as cyberbullying, sexual exploitation and exposure to inappropriate content such as pornographic or pro-anorexia websites.
I have been part of the Childnet team for nearly 4 years now and this is a charity that continues to deliver innovative and award-winning resources and education sessions which develop digital and esafety skills. Even with just a small team of 9 staff members, Childnet reach thousands of children, parents, carers and teachers in the UK every year. The money raised from this challenge will go towards continuing Childnet's amazing work by building new resources and delivering more education sessions in schools throughout the UK.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. All your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
