London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
On the 28th April my dad and I will be running the London Marathon 2019.
As many of you know I was unfortunately diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December 2016 and then spent a full year in treatment and thankfully I am now In remission.
I still take a lot of medication and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future ,I also have a risk reducing double mastectomy and reconstruction operation planned within the next couple of months, but I’m so incredibly lucky to be winning my fight.I feel so passionate about raising money for this amazing charity which will help other people that unfortunately have to face a cancer diagnoses and treatment.
Not only does a cancer diagnoses effect the person with the illness, it is so heartbreaking for family members and friends to sit back and feel helpless which is why my dad and I are doing this together to support each other and kick cancers butt!!!
We feel so honoured and privileged to be running for the charity” Breast Cancer Now “to help them continue to raise vital funds and continue the amazing work they do at the Toby Robins Research Centre .Their declared “Action Plan” is that by 2050 everybody who develops breast cancer will live!.
Any donation/sponsorship big or small will be so gratefully received., and every penny helps.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
See you at the finish line!!! Eeekkk
