I am running the Edinburgh BUPA Great Run 10k in July in support of the Universities Federation for Animal Welfare (UFAW) - a very worthy charity which promotes understanding and research into animal welfare in a variety of settings - pet, wild, captive, farm and research animals.

Our Behaviour and Evolution Research Group (BERG) meetings at the University of Stirling are also supported by UFAW which allows PhD students (like myself) and researchers the opportunity to discuss and promote our research. I need to raise a minimum of £200 but I'm hoping to exceed that - and I promise to run faster if you help me exceed my target!
