MY DAD

Thirteen and a half years ago I lost my dad to bowel cancer, he was 53 years old when he passed away, but had been diagnosed over five years earlier. That period of our lives was obviously difficult but Losing him was heartbreaking. 

I have lost other family members to cancer and currently have others battling. As have my closest friends. As such I will do what I can to help raise money for charities involving cancer.

 In this instance I am walking with a dear friend who recently lost her mam to cancer. Having had a great deal of support from Macmillan and wanting to give something back she asked me to do this walk with her. To which I was more than happy to say yes.

So if you could donate I would be very greatful and we can help Macmillan to carry on giving much needed support to many more people. X
