During my dads battle with peritoneal cancer the macmillan nurses offered great support to him and our family. They provided us with as much information as possible on such a rare cancer and explained all the treatments available. 
Their ongoing, genuine care helped make things a little easier at a time that was so difficult. 
By running the edinburgh marathon, I would like to raise money to show my appreciation and to help them continue their work for other people affected by cancer.
