Story
Graeme passed away on the 19/08/2016 after a long and tough battle with a mental illness. Everyone who knew Graeme would know that when he was well he was an amazing software engineer. He loved passing on his knowledge of computing and did this by organising conferences and giving talks both locally and internationally. He volunteered at the childrens code club, showing future generations how fantastic computers can be. He recently looked into journalism as his love of writing was another way to share his knowledge.
Graeme would go above and beyond to help friends and family, He had a passion for climbing and just last week he spent a few hours with his nephew showing him and his friends the ropes.
Graeme loved his children very much but due to his mental health issues he was unable to maintain the relationship with them he wanted so desperately to have.
People need to talk about mental health illnesses and awareness is the key. Please share this page so we can get people talking and acknowledging that men are at high risk from suffering these types of illness. If you are able to spare a few pounds to support the MIND charity in Graeme's name we would be grateful.
