Story
In 2010 my brother was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of 23. He underwent 15 months of gruellin treatment including a stem cell transplant which he received on the Teenage Cancer Trust Ward in Cardiff.
9 years on he has married Nicola who was his anchor during his treatment, they have a remarkable 5 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. He is running his own business ; and returned and continues to play his beloved rugby.
Our family will always be indebted to the Teenage Cancer Trust for the life saving treatment he received.
On the 16th November 2019 Leighton surprised by saying that he has also got a place to run the marathon with the Teenage Cancer Trust. Therefore this marathon is going to be even more special for us.
For those of you that know me I would have been the last person you would say that would run a marathon 10 years ago. I have now been given then opportunity to realise a long ambition of completing the London Marathon in 2020 for a charity that is so close to our hearts.
Please dig deep for this amazing cause.Thank you 😊
