Story

Update: my mum had to drop out because she has a bad back but my friend Abzy Rudd stepped in at the last moment and we walked together. It was a fantastic evening and I've raised almost £1,700 plus Gift Aid. The organisers told me I was one of the biggest fund raisers to take part in the event so a big THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored me. We aimed to complete the walk in less than four hours and did it in 3h 55 and 10 seconds You can still donate until 30th september :)

I'm doing the midnight walk in memory of my Uncle Pip, my dad's brother, who died from cancer on 25 January 2011 and he was only 50. Uncle Pip was looked after and given a lot of support from St Catherines Hospice and I want to give something back to show how grateful my whole family is for looking after him. My mum will be walking with me aswell as my mum's Nannie Nellie also died of cancer in January 2008 so we are walking in memory of her aswell. Please help me raise more money for St Catherines Hospice so people can get the love and care that my late Uncle Pip got

My dad says: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – Laura raises more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you <3

Thank you to everyone who has donated already 1005 in one week :) thank youu!
