As you all know, in August last year our lovely little girl Amelia Kate was born.

When first born, Amelia needed some special care and the care we received prior, during and after the birth was amazing. We are eternally grateful to the staff at Wythenshawe Maternity Department and the Special Care Baby Unit for the treatment that they gave both Amelia and I (Laura) during our time there and this is our way of saying a little 'thank you'.

Although this page is set up to go to the hospital, we are specifically raising money for "The One in a Million Appeal" which was launched last year to try to raise funds to enhance the patient experience and facilities in the Maternity Centre, which is currently undergoing a programme of major refurbishment and is a very worthy cause.

Here's hoping that Adam manages to beat his Personal Best time...and that Laura just manages to get to the end of the 10km :)
