Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm many things, a daughter, sister, auntie, wife but above all I'm a mum! I can not imagine the heartache any parent feels when they know they will have to say goodbye to their children, not goodbye I'll pick you up from school, or enjoy playing with your friends but the goodbye no parent should have to say to their children. With great pride I ride for the Oakley Waterman Foundation knowing I am helping to raise money for such a worthy cause. It provides a retreat for those brave families that have been through so many awful, painful moments, allowing them to just be happy, away from the day to day life and hopefully making them smile, even if it's just for a little while. 

I will be riding 100 miles on the first day from Gosport to New Haven and then to Worthing and then a further 50 miles the second day to return home. I will no doubt be battered and bruised and crying like a baby but I will be so proud that I accomplished it. I do this for all those parents who have to watch their children take their last breathe, kiss them goodbye one last time and stand at  grave.
