Story
I decided this year I would test myself- physically!! ...Could have done a sponsored silence but, no...I chose a Marathon and since i didn't get into the London marathon, Brighton seemed like the next best thing.
I have not, and I don't think I will ever come across a person in this world that doesn't know someone or who has not been effected by cancer, which is one of the main reasons that I am running this marathon on behalf of Cancer Research UK!
Cancer Research UK and what they stand for is so close to mine and many others hearts and knowing that my efforts will be supporting them will help to motivate me to keep going...after all, the pain of a marathon would not compare to the pain which some are going through, living with such a vicious disease.
This is something very new to me and I predict it to be my biggest challenge yet- SO... Whilst you are all wrapped up this winter, with your hot chocolate spare a little thought for me and Mo who will training/crying outside. All the support recieved will be greatly, greatly appreciated and never forgotten. (Occasional hugs are considered as support) haha. Thanks xxxxxxxx
