After little thought of what I’m really getting myself in for, I have decided to go and run the 2017 London marathon in April 2017!
In doing so [as marathons are a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a great cause] I have pledged to raise £1600 for Havens Hospices, a truly inspirational charity. They provide respite breaks, symptom control and end of life care for adults and children living with serious illnesses or conditions, aiming to make their journey, and that of the family as comfortable as possible and make every day count.
I have never run a marathon before …or a half marathon …..or even close! But I’m super motivated to do it and am pushing myself through pretty hard training to make sure I complete it and raise as much money as possible!
