In memory of Larkin Daria
US$8,440
The Good Samaritan NICU Care Team is here to offer encouragement and support to our families whether after the birth of a baby or multiples born premature, during or after a babys stay, or after a diagnosis of a childs special health care needs.

Story

Larkin Jonathan Daria was born three months too soon on October 19th, 2019 at 27 weeks. Allie’s water had broken at 17 gestational leaving no amnionic fluid around Larkin. His desire to meet his family earlier than expected had consequences with the development of his lungs. Fighting for four months and ten days to grow big and strong, his body failed his spirit on February 29th, 2020.

The NICU of Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio became our "home away from home" during this stressful journey. The staff, in its entirety, were passionate, thoughtful, and supportive. We knew Larkin had the best possible care to give him the best possible chance.

Today, we have a foundation in memory of Larkin Jonathan Daria called Larkins Legacy Foundation. Our mission is to provide hope and comfort for those families who are currently going through being a NICU parent at the Good Samaritan Hospital. It’s a lifestyle that rarely any parent imagines they’ll experience and we just hope that we can help make their stay a little easier with the support we can offer.
