This was by far the toughest task i have ever under take, the pain and determination i had to go throw is un explainable, completed it in 6 days as planed and fell better then every completing the mission.
If it was not for every ones donashion's there is no way i would have been able to continue.
The Skin on my behind was broken just after the 3rd day, My muscles wanted to stop working after the first day. just wanted to give you some kinda idear what i was dealing with
Please check the photos to see me at the top of the highest laid road in europe, what the photo does not show is the pain and tears i went throw cycling up the same mountain for about 3-4 hours hardly pushing past 5kmh.

Thanks for taking the time to read my JustGiving page.
I am going to take on one of Europe's most challenging cycle routes
The 'Raid Alpine' starts on the shores of Lake Geneva then traverses 750km through the French Alps before the finish line in Antibes on the Cote d'Azur
The ride passes over 31 cols (mountain passes) six of which exceed 2000m. Many of the cols I will be climbing have been made famous by the Tour de France such as Cornet de Roseland, Col du Vars, Col d'Izoard and at 2800m the Cime de la Bonette which makes this the highest asphalt road in Europe!
The start date will be Sunday 11th September 2011, there is a team of 5 (4 riders one support vehicle). We aim to plan the whole trip ourselves and support ourselves without any organized tour help and camp as much as possible. I will be funding the trip myself and hope to complete it on my second hand bike that I have just bought for £150.
So the plan is 750KM/ 31 COLS/ 6 DAYS....... and the reason is to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research in memory of my dear friend (and many others) ANDY GILES who sadly lost his battle to cancer last year. This is in memory for him xx
Please vist again soon for a up date of photos.
