Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are staging a 'Lab Olympics' event in UCL to coincide with the 2016 Olympic games. Our fun events will test the laboratory skills of prostate cancer researchers, health care workers, students and fundraisers alike. Participants' strength, speed, accuracy and determination will all be put to the test in a formidable battle of pipette-shooting, gel-gripping, weight guesstimation and even a race to dress up in our super fashionable hazard gear!

Refreshments will be provided, and the winning team will be presented with a one of a kind Lab Olympics trophy, and the well deserved title of 2016 Lab Olympics Winners!

The event takes place on 15th August from 2-5pm in the UCL main quad marquee. Email labolympics@gmail.com to register your team or get further information.

A suggested minimum donation of £50 per team would be greatly appreciated in aid of Prostate Cancer UK (4-7 participants per team). Extra points will be awarded to the gold, silver and bronze medalists of fundraising, so be sure to name the team you are supporting when you make your donation!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
