Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So I've undertaken the challenge to swim 2.25 miles in the Thames, that is just over 3.6 km from Hampton Court Bridge to Kingston Bridge.
I am raising money for The Daisy Garland, who make a hugely positive difference to the lives of children with drug resistant epilepsy.
They are the only charity to fund Ketogenic Dieticians in hospitals across the UK. The diet is a drug free alternative to controlling seizures, which is especially effective in young children with difficult to control epilepsy.
Each Ketogenic Dietician costs up to £45,000 per year and are not funded by the NHS. This is why the Daisy Garland Trust is so so important.
Any amount of donation is very gratefully received.
The event will take place on the 20th July and I would absolutely love it if you could come and support me - the Thames Path follows the bank of the river all the way from start to finish so please come shout some encouragement from the sidelines - bring a picnic make a day of it and I'll come meet you after :)
