Story
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is an immune-mediated disease of the bile ducts with no medical treatment. PSC is referred to as ‘the last black box in hepatology’ because there is so much we don’t yet understand about this complex condition, despite impressive research progress in the last decade. People with PSC urgently need a treatment that works.Donating to PSC Support means you are helping us fund more ground-breaking research projects. The next one could be the breakthrough that people with PSC have been waiting for.#LetsBeatPSC
I was diagnosed with PSC 6 years ago, and although I am fairly well for now, I have met so many amazing fellow PSC sufferers that are not.
Hearing people every single day explain that are waiting for a transplant due to liver damage, or are living through the terrible symptoms of pain, all over body itching, fatigue, infection and sepsis, nausea and many more awful symptoms, made me realise that while I am still well I need to put that to good use and try and raise as much money as possible to help find a cure .
Last year I decided I would organise a annual event called Live It Up For Livers (basically a giant party) to raise money and at event number 1 we raised £1,200 !!!
My plan was of course to do this again in 2020, however the Corona Virus outbreak has halted my plan.
I still really want to raise money somehow so decided to organise a prize raffle ❤️
I’m hoping we can raise as much money as possible even if it involves partying at home 🙈.
I thought it would be easier to set this page for raffle ticket payments but it is also open to random donations of course.
Once you have paid your raffle money message me or send me a text on 07711987057 and I’ll give you a number.
Thank you so much for donating and stay safe
