I am taking part in a 14 mile walk between the Royal Marsden Chelsea to the Royal Marsden Sutton. Yes ... 14 miles ... Just over half a marathon!!!
Being part of this walk means the world to me because without this hospital I'm not sure I would be here today!
In May 2013 I was diagnosed with Leukemia. This was a massive shock to me and everyone I know. The Royal Marsden supported us all throughout this very tough time and still today. The staff were always happy and ready to answer any questions I had. In Sept 2015 I finished my chemotherapy treatment, and now I visit every 6 months for a check up. This care and support is what got me through the toughest time in my life.
The hospital has done so much for me, and this is my way of giving back to them.
I have lots of supporters joining me on the walk this year (Mum, Dad, Hannah, Jason, Kate, Brendon, Marcus, Jonno, Sam, Charlie, Soup & Scott)!
Please help us raise as much as we can for this fantastic hospital!!!
Thank you in advance for any donations, it means so much to me and to the hospital.
